The memos that '60 Minutes' came up with regarding Bush's TANG service appear to be rather inept forgeries (produced in MS Word rather than on a 70's era typewriter, for starters). The guy they had on at the same time claiming to have used his pull as LT GOV to get Bush into TANG wasn't yet LT GOV.

As Ronald would say, I'm lovin' it. CBS can't interview *one* of the 260+ swift boat vets due to credibility problems but they can run this?

Not a big surprise you haven't heard about this yet. MSM is trying to cover it.

well, I pay very little attention to MSM anyway, and 60 minutes hasn't been good in a loooong time. Except for Andy Rooney, of course! ;-)

I'm voting for George Jefferson. No one expects George Jefferson in a goth club... yet there he was.

All in all, a better choice.

Rather apparently is *still* standing by those documents! I would've thought he'd be blaming Karl Rove by now....

Actually, Terry McAuliffe was blaming Karl Rove before the flap had jumped out of the blogsphere, on the tenth... Interesting to think that the DNC had information regarding the credibility of the memos that CBS did not.

The DNC doth protest too much, methinks.

It sounds like the whole planet has info that CBS doesn't! I cannot imagine what those guys can be thinking. One thing the "MSM" has done in the past year is to provide an abundance of examples of how to make a retraction...
