One of the barcodes says 'Divergent', the other says 'Technology'. They aren't as crisp as I would have liked; I had to scan them and they didn't come out that well. I had to redo the ad in a program that I wasn't familiar with, In-Design, in the middle of the night last night to make the deadline today. By the time I came up with the barcodes and got them in the layout, I was done. I'll fix 'em for next month.

Cute - but do you really think anyone will know what the bar codes spell? :-0 It's good tho - add a bit of a graphic element. Also, I especially the like the first line of the ad - it's a good motto! One suggestion - close up the space between the ellipsis and the word "and". It's grammatically incorrect the way it is.

Off topic: I just tried to copy you on an email, and for some reason, Yahoo didn't like your email address. Could you shoot me an email to my rocketmail account so I can double-check my address book? Thanks!

Also off topic: Tell H to get on line once in a while - I miss chatting (and arguing!) with her! (((Hugs))) to you all!

Don't hate me!
I didn't notice it the first time I looked at this - it's really really really minor, tho. I wouldn't have known, except I was corrected last fall when I used it in the newsletter.

re: ellipsis
for ad copy, i think that kind of thing is ok, it's more about graphic design and visual cues.

Yes, they are. There are a number of campanies around that cater to the real small business; I don't want to, anymore than I want to deal with individual end users or retail sales. The bigger companies are established, can pay my rates, and either have a better sense of needs or can understand when I explain.

Awesome; Thank you. I made it up while a strung-out zombie living in SF in the late '80s... Finally got to put it to use.
