The tinfoil hat set think that this will not turn out well. I tend to agree; they can't let this guy stay in his house indefinitely or other people will refuse to pay taxes. The armed supporters add a bit of tension, too. And, of course, we know from the past that the U.S Marshals are a bit heavy-handed (just ask Vicki Weaver).

In my business there is this thing we call "milita accounts". I don't see them everyday or anything, but I have definitely seen them in my time here. A "militia account" is an account(s) that is severely past due and the bank has recieved a cease and desist order, but not just any C&D. These are C&Ds that state that the person does not recognize the united states government nor does it recognize the banks legal authority to lend money. Of course, people tend not to accept the banks legal authority to lend after they have spent stolen 20k to 50k.

The last one I saw, there were 2 personal accounts that were 180 days past due with combined balances over 30k. The guy had a business account with us too, being used every month, and up-to-date with a perfect pay-in-full payment history, like a good business card should be. The company name? B*bs Guns and Ammo.

I am not kidding.
