What a deceptive trailer! It's like they're trying to trick Dan into going to a musical.

And, they're trying to trick me into going to a Tim Burton movie.

Were it anything but "Sweeney Todd" you couldn't get me to watch this movie if... well, I sha'n't even get into the fiscal and sexual bribes that would be inadequate to get me to another Tim Burton movie. Suffice it to say the two previews I've seen so far have very nearly convinced me that I'm going to loathe this movie even though it's goddamn Sweeney Todd. I swear, I'm going on a crazy man's crusade: Tim Burton MUST BE STOPPED BEFORE HE DIRECTS AGAIN. Can't he live in the whimsically spooky dark blue-gray sets in his head and spare the rest of us the agony thereof? Ugh. I know this is irrational. But I hate that fucker.

Beetlejuice and Scissorhands were fun in a cartoony way - as was the Beetlejuice TV cartoon - but his whole goofy goth style is just soooo tired ... goofy Batman, goofy Wonka, huge steaming piles of crap! Wonka, especially, was simply unforgivable.

I was going to say something, but everyone else already did.

Yep, take out the music so you don't scare the masses. Also,

"These are desperate times, Mrs. Lovett, and desperate times call for desperate measures." Johnny Depp says it wrong. :-(

Ok well that was a freak-out-fest. I had an Australian accent at the start, followed by Snape from Harry Potter glaring at me, then Captain Jack Sparrow going a bit nasty.... *goes to have a cup of tea to chill out* Sounds like most of you guys know the story of Sweeney Todd already... is that an American thing? I've never heard of him. But then again I could just be clueless. :-)

Huh. Weird. I copied it directly from the top bar of the browser (which I'm sure has an actual name, but I don't know it).

Microsoft Internet Explorer calls it an Address Bar, and Mozilla FireFox calls it a Location Bar, but they're both wrong because it's a field not a bar.

A termite walks into a pub, sits down at one of the empty stools, and asks "Is the bar tender here?" BaDumpCha!

A baby seal walks into a bar. "What can I get you?" asks the bartender. "Anything but a Canadian Club," replies the seal.
