It's that day again.

Three years. In some ways it seems longer, in some ways, shorter. I can remember some of my thoughts precisely.

When the first tower fell, Ben Kenobi came unbidden into my mind.

"I feel a great disturbance in the force, as though millions of souls cried out in pain and terror and were suddenly silenced."

I avoid thinking about that day, mostly.

Ditto. I spent the day outside, at an art fair and a play, and totally avoided watching the tube or reading the paper. Call me cowardly, call me what you will - nothing will change the events of that day, nor bring those people back. Mike & I talked about it a bit - mostly how we hope the families are coping OK.
