Funny - I just ordered a book from John Deere!
I'm assuming it's a big ol' riding model, and not the little non-motorized one like we (read: Mike) use.

hmm
I'm looking at fireplace screens/doors on Ebay. Kinda scary.
How used is that mower and how much was shipping?

Re: hmm
The mower is new. It's a push mower, non-self-propelled-gas-type. It was $200 and shipping was $10. I thought the shipping was incredibly cheap.

I'm impressed
Don't you have like acres and acres of grass to cut? That's a lot of pushing.

Re: I'm impressed
Nope, not really... When we cut trails in the meadow, I do it with tha tractor. We just have two smallish patches to cut by hand.

Ah, that makes sense. This is in
addition
to the tractor. I was just imagining you cutting and cutting and cutting and cutting...

Re: hmm
Fireplace screens and doors are going to be heavy, and therefore expensive to ship, especially on ebay where everyone uses USPS Priority mail. But maybe you can find a seller who is willing to use a less expensive shipping method?
