Wow. Combine Britain's guilty-until-proven-innocent proposal with Florida's shoot-em-if-you-feel-threatened law, and you've got a recipie for a slew of action-thriller movies.

What's funny about the Florida thing is that many other states already do not require one to retreat if the three criteria for use of deadly force are met and have not for decades. Florida is new to the club and a big tourist destination so the Brady group thinks they can get traction there. The whole thing is rather funny or pathetic to people that have a good understanding of firearms laws across the nation.

Interesting that Brady cares not about Floridians. It's not just gun owners that are hurt by negative impact on tourism.

Our second amendment rights are precisely why guilty-until-innocent would not be attempted in the red states.
